View from balcony was breathtaking. Location was good, close to the city centre.
The bed was big but the blanket was a bit small for me and my partner.

Mega View ended up being so much more than just somewhere I stayed in Sapa.
Even before I arrived, Mr. Tran was incredibly helpful. I had lots of questions about getting from Hanoi to Sapa, pickup arrangements, buses, trekking, Fansipan and all the little things that can get confusing when you're travelling somewhere for the first time. He was patient and genuinely tried to help me figure out what made the most sense. Travelling solo, that made a huge difference.
Once I arrived, it didn't suddenly become just a hotel check-in and that's it. We had real conversations, his wife was incredibly kind, and the rest of the team were lovely. It really felt like they cared whether I was enjoying Sapa.
The homestay itself is beautiful too. I loved the dark slate floors, earthy toned pebble-pattern tiles, stone walls, wood details and all the little touches that give the place such a warm, cozy mountain feel. My room was spacious and comfortable, the views were beautiful, and there were spots to just sit, slow down and take in the mountains.
Mr. Tran and his wife were both incredibly welcoming. I'm terrible with names and unfortunately can't remember hers, but she was awesome and her kindness really stood out.
They made planning things easy too. Transportation, trekking options, Fansipan, local recommendations, whatever I asked about, they were willing to help, and I never felt pressured to book anything through them.
I could still travel the way I wanted to, make my own decisions and do my own thing, but whenever I needed help, someone was there.
That's probably what I'll remember most about Mega View.
Yes, the property is beautiful. Yes, my room was lovely and the views are amazing. But the people and the feeling of being welcomed here are what made the stay special for me.
I'm genuinely so glad I chose Mega View for my time in Sapa, and I'd absolutely stay here again.
