This beautiful hotel was perfect for a 3-night stay. The setting was spectacular, a green oasis with willow trees and lily ponds tucked into an urban area. The room was comfortable, if not fancy, with a lovely view onto the pond and a modern and clean bathroom. Breakfast was generous, and getting in and out was easy once I figured it all out. Marc-Antoine greeted me warmly and was available to answer all my questions and chat. There was plenty of parking, and the location was convenient for exploring Évreux's old city and venturing out to see more of Normandy. The quiet night was punctuated by the calls of waterfowl on the pond and owls conversing in the trees. It was easy for me to spend a few hours working in the "salle de convivialité" (breakfast room). Great value for the money, beautiful landscaping and gardens, and a friendly host.
My room was on the 2ème étage (third floor), and the window was small. If you want a room with more of a view of the gardens and lily pond, choose the 1ère étage (second floor). The wifi was a little sketchy at first, but Marc-Antoine was quick to offer another network to use. There is no lift, so you'll have to climb stairs. And don't be put off by the location before you turn onto the property. You'll find yourself in a green oasis surrounded by the bustle of an urban neighborhood, which doesn't seem possible until you actually get inside the gates.

Property looks amazing set in lovely grounds . Rooms immaculate and clean. Looks like this hotel has been very recently refurbished
Soulless. You arrive use a key pad to get in and get your key. No reception area no staff on site . No information whatsoever anywhere in the room or downstairs on Wi-Fi breakfast times , how to use blinds, nearest place for food drink to walk etc . Breakfast awful value . Menu said cheese and charcuterie by order . We were given cheese spread in foil and one slice of ham each . A walk to town about 35 mins but no room information to tell you how to get there
