We had an absolutely fabulous holiday at Eco Villa, Nazarat, and would happily stay here again. The villa was clean, spacious, and well maintained. The bedrooms were comfortable, and having a portable fan in each room was a nice touch.
We loved the outdoor space, which was one of the highlights of our stay. However, the raised levels around the property could benefit from clearer marking, particularly for older guests. My parents, who are both 78, occasionally misjudged the steps and stumbled, although thankfully neither was injured. We also felt that a handrail for the pool would make access much easier, especially for elderly guests.
While the villa is advertised for up to 12 people, we feel it is better suited to 8-10 guests for a more comfortable stay. The location is peaceful and quiet, which we really enjoyed, but it is somewhat tucked away. Taxi drivers often struggled to find it, and we found that telling them "36 El Cortego" helped. There are no amenities within immediate walking distance, although there is a shopping centre and Spar around 15-20 minutes away on foot.
Although this review highlights a few areas for improvement, they did not detract from what was a wonderful holiday. Eco Villa provided a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely return, just with a smaller group and perhaps not with elderly family members. Overall, a fantastic holiday and a villa we would recommend.
There are a few things that potential guests should be aware of. The bedroom with the double bunk beds feels quite cramped, with very little room to move around and no storage for those using it. In my opinion, it would work better as a single bunk room, additional storage space, or even a larger bathroom.
The smaller bathroom was functional, but the shower was quite tight, and it was difficult to move without accidentally hitting the water controls. The bathtub also had a few areas where the enamel had worn away and rust was showing through. This did not affect our holiday in any way, but it is worth mentioning.

Amazing villa with a huge pool and plenty of space. Fantastic bbq area too. Plenty of towels for everybody and facilities were ample like dishwasher microwave oven full size fridge
It was all brilliant! The only thing I would change personally is the size of the shower in the main toilet! I couldn't really move in it 😅 There was however a good shower in the ensuite so not really a problem

The villa is like a home away from home and we had a great stay here. Perfect location a short walk from shops and restaurants. With the golf course on one side there is very little noise and the garden and pool isn’t overlooked by any windows. The layout of the villa worked well for 8 people from two families who all get up at different times. The pool was fab for relaxing and cooling off in with sun loungers around it for everyone in our group. We contacted Frank regarding a later check out which he responded to quickly and was able to accommodate for us.
Nothing we didn’t like at all.

The garden was lovley great size and overlooking the golf course.
The lounge was small for the amount of people it accommodated. Contact with the people or owners looking after the place was very poor. I did ask for directions a few days before arrival and Frank sent them on the day of arrival by e-mail and I have no internet on my tablet so did not receive them. Taxi dropped us at the address I had received when I booked the Villa it was the wrong place. I called the contact no twice it was an answer phone and no one called me back. Then phoned booking.com and had problems as I could her the assistant but she could not her me.. booking.com contacted the owner by which time we had after a long while found the Villa. I would like to say the Villa was okay but needs a little upgrading in places. Bathrooms need shelving to put toiletries and make up on there’s no where to put anything on. Ours had to go on the floor. Also mattress in blue bedroom needs replacing very dirty. In saying all of this we did have a good time and did not let this spoil our holiday.
