About this house rental
Riverfront Vacation Home with hot tub with 4 Bedrooms and 2 Full Bathrooms located on 1 acre on the Wally Road Scenic Byway. Home features sweeping views of the Mohican River from the raised deck. Views of river can also be seen from the Kitchen and Living Room windows, the two downstairs bedrooms, from the patio and basically any where in the back yard. We are located just 6 miles down river from Mohican Adventures and 7 miles from the main entrance to Mohican State Park.

We take an annual family vacation to Mohican every year and have stayed at different homes for the past few years. This property was exactly what we were looking for. With two bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs as well as two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the lower level, our large group was able to have different "areas" of the house to have some privacy. The spacious den in the lower level was great for members of our family who wanted more space to spread out. Our kids (5 and 7) loved the ping pong table (and so did their FUNcles ;) The large open kitchen was great for cooking and socializing with each other. We loved the large island and the kitchen was well stocked.There was plenty of room for the 8 of us to sit for all of our meals. The best part of this property was the proximity to the river for our float trip and play time. The backyard was spacious and the hot tub was one of the nicest I've ever seen at a rental property. Drew was super responsive and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic property right on the river. Drew Moody, the landlord, was very communicative and easy to work with. We’ve stayed at his other property on the river, Tana’s Riverfront Getaway twice before and loved it also. We were about 10 people and we were all happy with the house, its updated rooms and outdoor spaces. I had a few of my friends say it was too warm in the house. The AC seemed to struggle to keep the temp down. The host mentioned this beforehand and provided fans in every room so we were okay. The house was well provisioned with kitchen stuff, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc. there were plenty of towels and wash cloths. The Internet worked pretty well if a bit slower than I’m used to. Cell reception for my AT&T iPhone has improved from no bars to two bars, so that’s a step in the right direction. All-in-all, a very nice place, great host, perfect location. (One thing I’d recommend that visitors bring are some Scotch-Brite sponges for washing dishes. The provided long-handled brush didn’t cut it. And there were no dish rags either. But this is a small gripe for an otherwise terrific place.)
