Fabulous, freshly cooked breakfast. And the mushrooms were fresh too, not frozen. Proper ground coffee with as much as you'd want.
The owners were lovely, very welcoming and caring. Dogs are very well catered for here too!
If you need to be gluten-free, the attention to detail is second to none. You can be certain that you will be able to enjoy a GF breakfast with total confidence.
Hard to find anything we didn't like! Ok, the taps were squeaky!!

Great location with parking. We had a lovely sea view room with comfortable bed and a good bathroom. Owners were really friendly and breakfast was good. We would definitely stay again.

Easy access stayed on the ground floor which was good as just had operation.
Lovely rear garden area so you can relax in the evening.
Couldn’t find anything to not like as it’s well laid out.

I would happily recommend Amber House for anyone staying in Paignton. My room was excellent, clean and had all of the expected facilities. The garden was a nice place to sit after being out for the day and to enjoy a drink from the honesty bar. The breakfasts are all very good and cooked freshly each morning. The owners run the hotel, cook the breakfasts and are always available for a friendly chat or advice on the area.
Nothing.
