Rude staff & a lack of security/privacy leave a bad taste for an otherwise pleasant apartment

Nice space, Aircon and reasonably comfortable bed. Bathtub and decent shower also a plus. The Juliet balcony was a welcome surprise. Building security and reception were pleasant.

The room had not been cleaned from the previous guests when I checked in. I contacted the person responsible for the property who simply replied that I had checked in too early even though it was 51 minutes after the check-in time on the literature they had sent me and 9 minutes from the time they claimed. When I pointed this out they did not apologise or acknowledge it but rather said housekeeping was on their way. The room was eventually cleaned 2 hours and 15 minutes after check-in time and they used the washing machine to do laundry during that time. The room was still not as clean as one would hope for. I asked housekeeping not to come the next day and they agreed but then they were there when I walked in which I found annoying. They also returned on the first day and let themselves in without waiting for me to respond. There is no internal lock on the door and so I felt uncomfortable as I knew the staff or anyone with a copy of the key could walk in whenever they wanted. The green credentials, the property claims, are not actually met with bulbs not being led and with daily cleaning etc. This doesn't bother me much but I don't think it's right to claim it if it isn't true. Bedroom closet/hanging space is surprisingly limited due to storage of random stuff and cleaning tools but anything less than a week should be fine. My primary issues were the poor communication and the rudeness of the management but the lack of bolt or internal lock didn't help. The area is not suitable for walking at night but that really didn't bother me as I already knew this and drive - the parking was also good. However, tourists should make sure they are aware of this before booking.
