I cannot say enough good things about this property. First of all, the place is gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, and so well appointed. EVERYTHING we needed, and more, was there - linens, beach/pool towels, throw blankets, every kitchen tool, dish, pan, appliance you could think of, cooking oils, condiments, spices, coffee... the list goes on. This is just the inside. The outside pool area was amazing with multiple sitting areas, umbrellas, grill and dining table. The plants - flowers and fruit trees - add a beautiful, tropic feel to the backyard. We spent hours on the patio, in the pool and hot tub. There were bikes and ping-pong table available as well as beach chairs and umbrella. The owners have thought of and made available everything you could want. The property owner's daughter lives in the casita next to the property. We found her to be very helpful and not intrusive at all. We hardly saw her but she made herself available by text if we needed anything.The location is good - quiet neighborhood. Easy bike ride and very short drive to the town and/or beach. Walk is doable but hilly. We found Encinitas to be charming but drove to other areas for beaches and activities.Things that are really important to us in every rental are responsive, helpful communication with owners and cleanliness and this place gets 5 plus stars for both. We would stay here again without hesitation!

The property was great! House could easily have accomodated more than the 7 of us (2 children, 5 adults). Great location, with a nice stroll to the beach (and a great ice cream shop on the way back). Pool and hot tub were great. Only issue: a neighbor complained about noise in mid-afternoon that definitely was not loud, then had the temerity to start power washing his/her house early the next morning.

I stayed here with my partner, my 3 granddaughters, and my daughter in-law. We loved the home, which has a lot of space, beautiful artwork, contemporary decor, and great pool. The children stayed mostly in the pool. The kitchen has everything you need and more to whip up a fast meal. There are several large smart tvs, and all spaces were comfortable. Location is central to all we needed. The caretaker is very discreet and is not an issue to have on property. There are many adult bikes—not easy to ride or walk to beach with highways. Recommend a car. Everything worked with a few exceptions like the jetted tub, pool lights, and we could not figure out how to unlock the ping pong table. I believe those will be repaired. If you enjoy an upscale environment, this is it.
