It has an amazing view! We had the pleasure to enjoy the Northern Lights from our igloo.
The staff very welcoming and Friendly! We had booked a dinner for extra cost which added to the experience!
The igloo itself does not have a shower but the property has a full bathroom close by available and it was very nice, clean and warm as well! Everything was great!
There was nothing that we did not like it!

Being right by the lakeshore made it the perfect spot for viewing the aurora.
It would have been nice to have a microwave in the shared area. The water flow in the kitchenette was inconsistent.

Everything was perfect ! The place and the fact that they were so kind. I said it was our birthday party and they did put a little surprise in the room. The tiny house with the glass ceiling was amazing. We could see the northern lights from our bed. Magic !
maybe the fact that the sauna is a big cost.

I did not have breakfast with/from the company. Im sure this property is amazing in the summer. However, it is unlikely to be something a tourist with a rental car would like during the winter months.
I asked about the clearing of the road for the winter months as I would be renting a car. I was assured that it would be clear so I rented a cabin for 3 nights. The driveway and road only fit one car. It required a 6 point turn to leave the driveway. Once to the road you had to get up a somewhat steep hill, that even the local taxi struggled with. The road only had room for one car, so once I finally made it to the top of the hill another car was coming down, causing me to have togo back down in reverse. All of this on snow and Ice. There was 6 more inches of snow coming the next 2 days. I had to check out early to be sure I could get to the airport at 6:00 and not have to fight that hill.
In the cabin it was nice, the only issue we had was the insolation, there was a little snow and ice build up on every window. The old wood floors were nice but they let in a lot of air.
