About this house rental
We will be happy to welcome you, with or without your horses, to our farm in Les Engenêts. It is located in the middle of nature, only 1 km from a charming village on the banks of the Mayenne, near the lower valleys of Anjou.
Our cottage can accommodate 6 to 7 people and a baby.
Accommodation in a paddock or box is possible for 4 horses.
Our breeding includes 2 broodmares.
Rental of the gîte:
4-star furnished tourist accommodation
€150 per night on weekdays for a minimum of 2 nights
200€ per night on weekends and public holidays with 2 nights mandatory
200€ per night during the entire summer holiday period.
Regarding weekends outside school periods, and if the house is not re-rented on the same day, the departure time is set at 3pm so that you can fully enjoy your weekend. We also have a "late check-out" option which allows you to enjoy the house until 8pm on the day of your departure. This option, which is 50€, is to be paid on site on the day of your arrival.
+ Mandatory cleaning fee: €80
Before your departure, please :
- remove your sheets
- store your dishes
- Clean the plancha
- take out your garbage
Horse accommodation:
25 € per box per day including bedding, straw, hay and water
€15 in paddock per day
Dogs are not accepted because of the broodmares.
A deposit check of 1000€ will be requested on arrival
Services included:
Free Wi-Fi (fiber)
Linen included, beds made on arrival.
In winter or in the late season, you can enjoy the fireplace in the living room. A first fire will be ready when you arrive. For the rest of the stay, please only use condensed logs, which are cleaner and more ecological. They can now be found in all supermarkets.
Due to the configuration of the gîte (stairs, narrow access, bedrooms upstairs...), we regret not being able to accommodate people with reduced mobility.

I would definitely stay here again. The house is so cute, with lots of room, and beautifully appointed. There is also the added benefit of horses to look at and small goats to pet and feed. Plus, you can walk into town to the boulangerie and little grocery store. When in the Loire, it's nice to be nice to chateaux and other attractions, and you definitely are here.

We’ll maintained and equipped converted farmhouse. Great location with respect to the River, chateaux, and the cities of Angers and Tours.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. La maison est décorée avec soin. Tout est mis en œuvre par nos hôtes pour que nous soyons bien installés : lits faits à l’arrivée, serviettes en nombre suffisant, literie de qualité, équipement de la cuisine parfait. Le baby foot nous a permis de partager de jolis moments de rigolade entre amis et avec les enfants. On se sent bien dès notre arrivée. Le cadre est très agréable, on peut faire quelques balades sympathiques au départ de la maison. Nous recommandons vivement cette location. Merci beaucoup aux propriétaires.
