About this house rental
Located in a hilly area of Como, conveniently close to the Milan-Lugano highway, this elegant apartment offers an enchanting view of the lake. The first-floor apartment is laid out as follows: an entryway veranda; a beautiful, bright living room furnished with designer pieces and featuring two floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city and the first basin; a kitchen-dining area; a master bedroom with access to the terrace and a panoramic view; a generously sized double bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, a bathroom/laundry room with a dryer, and a storage closet.

This was probably the best view I’ve ever had from a rental! Unfortunately, with the heat wave across Europe temperatures had been in the high 80’s and there is no AC in this apartment. It didn’t get below 90 F in the apartment our first night and the two fans that were there did little to help. We were working remotely in the evenings and it was almost impossible to try and work and concentrate in that sort of heat, so we ended up finding a new place that had AC for the rest of our stay. However, everything about this apartment was wonderful! Sara, the property manager was great and communication could not have been better. The apartment is a bit up and out of the main town, but there’s a grocery store walking distance and the views are so spectacular! The apartment was clean and had plenty of room for 3 of us. It was also one of the few rentals we’ve had in Italy that supplied coffee and the basics (salt, pepper, olive oil, etc.). I would absolutely stay here again if visiting Como and tempatures were cooler.

The property was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view and verandah!!It was sparkling clean, extremely well maintained, everything looked new and had high quality fixtures such as hot plates, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, a lot of clean and new cupboards. Sara was a pleasure to deal with and answered all our questions very quickly and in an informative fashion.Could not recommend it more highly!

This place is absolutely beautiful. The views of Lake Como and the mountains couldn’t be better. I highly recommend The Window on Lake Como.

Beautiful view! Comfortable beds. Very clean with everything necessary.
Easy to walk to grocery store and a few restaurants.
Note that the one bathroom is a 1/2 bath.
It’s best to have a car. A small car is best!
