Cozy cottage with wonderful amenities.

4 / 10

Stayed for our mini family vacation. Really wanted to love the place but the beds are so incredibly firm!! Every morning we woke up with our backs aching…which isn’t relaxing at all. You’d be better off sleeping on the couch honestly. There was a pullout couch which was also awful and flimsy. One bathroom shower door practically fell off every time you opened and closed it. The other bathroom toilet moved when sat on. Trash was left in the bathroom from previous guests. We had to wash dishes before using them because they were put away dirty. Safety hazards for our 3 small kids (nails sticking out, uneven floors, no outlet covers). The one enjoyable thing about this cottage was the hot tub! It’s also a close drive to the swimming lake. Hosts were friendly and responsive. However, if paying for a place to vacation at, I expect it to be nicer than my own home. The uncomfortable beds really ruined the trip for us.
