Nestled in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside, Il Casolarino is an historic country home that has been skillfully renovated to offer guests the charm of tradition and the comfort of a relaxing vacation.
The house enjoys a splendid panoramic view of the Tuscan hills and guarantees privacy, tranquility, and an authentic atmosphere. The large private park of about 2 hectares, planted with olive trees, the garden, the pool, and the parking area are for the exclusive use of guests.
The location is ideal for fully experiencing the Tuscan countryside while remaining close to some of the region’s most beautiful cities of art: Certaldo is just 5 km away, San Gimignano 16 km, and Florence 38 km.
The House
The semi-detached house spans two floors, covering approximately 140 m², and is tastefully and elegantly furnished in the characteristic Tuscan style.
The heart of the house is the spacious and cozy living-dining room; two large French doors provide a pleasant flow between the interior and the terrace, creating the perfect space to relax and enjoy the view.
The large, fully equipped open kitchen features:
5 burners
oven
dishwasher
microwave
electric coffee maker
Rounding out this floor are a guest bathroom with a sink and washing machine, and a practical, well-equipped storage room.
The house also has heating to ensure comfort in every season.
First Floor
The sleeping area consists of:
1 master bedroom with a private bathroom featuring a shower, sink, toilet, and bidet
1 bedroom with two single beds
1 smaller bedroom with two single beds
1 full bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, and bidet
The rooms are designed to offer comfort and privacy, making the house ideal for both families and groups of friends.
The attic
Upon request and for an additional fee, you can also use the charming attic on the upper floor.
The attic, approximately 40 m², features two single beds, a sitting area, and a full bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. The ceiling height ranges from approximately 170 to 210 cm.

Eleonora was wonderful. She was so helpful. Beds were comfortable. Only problem would be a bit far from the town. Never got to use the pool because weather didn’t cooperate. The pool area was very nice.

We had an amazing week at this beautiful holiday home in Tuscany. The view is absolutely breathtaking – waking up every morning to panoramic scenery of rolling hills and vineyards is truly special.The location is great: peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet just a short drive from charming villages and the local market.The house itself is comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. What stood out to us was how pleasantly cool it stayed inside, even on the hotter days.A special thanks to Eleonora, the host, who was incredibly helpful and kind. She made us feel very welcome and was always available if we had any questions or needed suggestions.In short: a fantastic place for anyone who loves peace, nature, and the real Tuscan lifestyle. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The villa is simply wonderful, the owner is very kind and very helpful in giving us advice on the area and things to do.

With my family we have been staying at the Casolarino for the last six years, the house is beautiful and charming
,the cleanliness is impeccable (the owner and her family take care of it directly), the rooms are spacious and well-kept , this year they have also renovated all the bathrooms.
The property is on a hill, with a beautiful park of olive trees, from the entire house there is a fantastic view of all the surrounding hills. The swimming pool is large and well maintained.
Very good, I will definitely come back to visit.
