The property is well maintained and the host is even better. He is able to give you recommendations for anything and everything. Surfboard, taxi transfers, safari and local eats just to name a few.
I’ve been to other hostels in this village, and they all lack compared to Uluwatu. Highly recommend.
The hostel itself is one room, however each cubicle is private, and best of all 24/7 AC which other hostels do not do.
I came early in the morning at 3am, and the hostel still was happy to serve

First time solo-traveling backpacking in hostels and I can say it was amazing. Wonderful hostel, lovely staff, good prices for the breakfast, and I met the best people in arugam bay. Good vibes

De eigenaar was erg aardig maar soms een beetje té voor mij als vrouw alleen. Kon wel veel regelen/meedenken. Locatie was prima iets van de main street af. Ik had niet het idee dat het erg sociaal was maar kwam daar ook niet voor.
Ik had twee dagen gigantische kakkerlakken in de badkamer en ander ongedierte. Werd wel opgelost maar echt onprettig. Ook werkte de AC in privé kamer niet terwijl ik daar echt veel voor betaalde. Omdat er niet echt hostel vibes waren had ik beter een hotel kunnen boeken.
