Gardner Farm Inn

This was a beautiful stay. My first time in Troy and I wanted to stay in a charming bed and breakfast that you always dream of. When I arrived I was greeted so warmly. I felt as if I was arriving to visit a loved one or family member. John’s welcome surpassed anything I could hope for. He let me see the home and talked about the history and life and I felt transported to a time when life felt a little lighter and slower. My room was magical and as a writer I loved the synchronicity of the rooms theme being for writers. The decor was nostalgic filled with beautiful antique finds as well as family heirlooms. I loved how personal it all was. The location was close to downtown and lots of restaurant options to choose from. What stood out about this visit is I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. There was a feeling of calmness and to be able to travel and have that feeling is unmatched a beautiful memory. I had this waking up and John cooked his famous breakfast, which all of us that were staying at this beautiful bed-and-breakfast got to enjoy. It was magical to have conversations and great food and discuss things it took me back the time in my life that I miss being around the table with family and loved ones can’t wait to one day visit again huand stay longer Don. You are an absolute dumb. Thank you for making my first time enjoy a beautiful memory that I will always cherish!

Breakfast was fantastic, the host is a great cook and overall extremely thoughtful host

Nothing, everything was fabulous on our stay

John (our host) is one of the warmest, most welcoming people we’ve ever met on our travels. We arrived as weary travels and left (eventually) as friends. A historic property filled with the eclectic art and furniture. Some beautiful antiques and vintage toys. Great themed rooms and a fantastic bathroom. Breakfast was not your usual B&B fare and the sausages in particular were stand out. Angus deserves a mention too, he’s a top boy and a valued team member.

No joke! Everything!

Nothing!
