Excellent staff, eggs at breakfast were really good. Clean hotel.
There was black stuff floating in the water that was provided in the lobby. The front desk seemed anxious cause there was so much going on at one time -she was trying to keep up. I understand all this cause I used to work in a hotel where I had to check guests in/out, breakfast, laundry etc..

Loved the location and the snacks/beverages that were available. Bars and restaurants walking distance.
The AC was a bit loud. The sink did not drain well but I'm English

I was unable to enjoy the breakfast at this location. However I did enjoy the location of this Hotel. You’re right next to several bars, Lake Norman and Restaurants/Clubs on the Lake that have excellent food as well. The cleanliness of this location was immaculate! The location of this hotel is worth the money you pay. It was central to all the places I had to travel during my stay! With having a girls volleyball team and wedding in this hotel during my stay I was pleasantly surprised I was only woke up once due to stomping above me, which was great! I figured it would’ve been an issue with both groups in this location with noise complaints and there wasn’t! Kudos to Tru for keeping it orderly and having signs saying respect quiet hours 10pm-6am!
I did ask the staff to put me as high up as possible I ended up on the fourth floor, there are six at this location and they did try to accommodate this request as best as possible but since they had a girls volleyball team and wedding in town that was the best they could do, which is understandable. But wish I was up on the sixth floor so I did not hear stomping on the floor at 6:30am. I was trying to avoid being higher up. Which is not the hotels fault due to capacity, especially with a Girls Volleyball team and Wedding in the location. The view was not the greatest as it was facing towards I-77 and the Roundabout but that’s understandable due to capacity.
