Well furnished place with everything needed for a few days stay. Convenient location between the bus terminal, Conad supermarket and Menaggio town center. About 12 min. walk to the ferry terminal for Varenna and Bellagio makes Menaggio a good base for visiting the rest of Lago di Como. Local buses to good hiking too!
5 nights was too short ;-)

Hostess really friendly.
We ha a very sagging bed and she replaced mattress quickly.
Apartment was clean , nice views.
Great location to lovely square and large supermarket
No car necessary. Good bus/ ferry system to get around.
Disappointed about the quality and ill fitting bedding. Very worn. Only 1 set of towels.
Of course we could wash them mid week. But no where to hang sheets/ towels to dry .plus a big job in small washing machine.
No proper ( and used!) washing up cloth and 1 drying cloth.
We stayed 7 nights!
Apartment was on 2nd floor , small tight stairs , no lift.
No lounge , only 2 uncomfortable seats.
Apartment 5 needs an update.

location is good.
it would be great if a grandmom host could speak or understand some English. I eventually had to use google translate to help communicate with her.
