### ⭐⭐ 2-Star Review — Very Disappointing Stay at Opus 5, Corfu Town

### ⭐⭐ 2-Star Review — Very Disappointing Stay at Opus 5, Corfu Town We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Opus 5 in Corfu Town. One of the main reasons we specifically chose this apartment over a hotel or other accommodation was because the listing **advertised a washing machine**. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that the washing machine was **not operational and could not be used during our stay**. We were on an extended European holiday, and having access to a working washing machine was important to us. As a result, we had to spend a significant portion of our limited time in Corfu Town trying to locate a laundry facility. We only had three full days on the island, so losing valuable time dealing with something that we reasonably expected to be available was extremely frustrating. The **bed was also very uncomfortable**, with what appeared to be two separate, lumpy mattresses that made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The **internet connection was another major issue**. It was probably the worst Wi-Fi/internet service we experienced during our entire European trip. If you need reliable internet for work, communication, or simply staying connected while travelling, this is something to seriously consider. After our stay, we contacted the management company directly to explain our disappointment, particularly regarding the advertised washing machine and the impact its absence had on our limited time on the island. **Unfortunately, they did not even respond to our email.** That lack of response was especially disappointing given that we took the time to explain our concerns. Overall, while the location in Corfu Town is convenient, the problems with the washing machine, uncomfortable bed, extremely poor internet, and lack of response from management significantly affected our stay. **Based on our experience, we would not recommend this unit.**
