Norfolk Arms

The room was lovely (had to book a family room even though there was just me, so lots of space! ) It was clean and comfortable especially the bed! Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Carried my bag to the room for me (I'm disabled). Be aware that rooms are on the first floor and there is no lift - something I knew before booking. The location was excellent as I was attending a funeral half a mile away the following day. I was able to park right outside the door. Note that there is very limited parking even for disabled being in the centre of town however I was lucky and someone pulled out as I pulled in!

Breakfast does not start until 10am. Far too late for me on this occasion and even if I'd been attending for pleasure I don't like having to check out of my room before breakfast. They did do a breakfast basket for £4 which should have been delivered to my room at 7.45am however I had to go in search of it at 8.45am as I was leaving at 9 15am. The housekeeping lady said she had been told it must be delivered before 9.30am! That was a bad start to an already very stressful day. At least it was ready for me and she brought it to my room for me.

Great location? Perfect for our overnight stay prior to a dog grooming

Nothing, it was all good

the friendliness of staff. plenty of space. Good view. plenty of tea/coffee facilty

Found it difficult to work out how to use bedside lights. Parking facility was not obvious tho it was well adequate once I asked

Great location, friendly staff.

Room was extremely hot, with very limited fans.
