The apartment was perfect, even better than we thought from the photos, very easy to access with the door codes provided by the owner. The location was great, on the edge of the old town, so convenient for sightseeing but quiet. Some great bars and restaurants nearby - check out Taberna Santo Antonio a minutes walk away for great home cooked portugese food - pop your head round the door in the morning to book a table, or you'll be queuing as they don't have online booking! Also we had several pleasant evenings and a lunch in Tapas Wine Bar just around the corner with a great scenic view across the river - all very reasonably priced! Even closer than those are a convenient grocery store and a lovely breakfast place called Morada Brunch, where you'll get a magic trick with your poached eggs on toast. We would thoroughly recommend Olival 54, good communicaitons with owner who was also really helpful with arranging flowers for our wedding anniversary

Location v convenient for exploring the city. simply stylish
The en-suite wasn’t very private - just behind a frosted door/partition in a corner of the bedroom

Cute apartment with nice view and all the supplies I needed. I was very comfortable during my stay
There’s 6 flights of stairs to get to the top apartment, but it was fine and doable
