The staff were wonderful. So friendly and very obliging.
Can only comment on Room 5. Creaking floorboards in the room above and could hear everything that was happening in their toilet. Wobbly toilet seat and only one electric socket in the room. Road noise but I accept that it's on a main road.

The Inn has plenty of on-site parking, and it is a 15-minute walk to the village. It serves food all day, with a solid selection of quality menu options at reasonable prices; breakfast was outstanding. What stands out is the quality of the staff and their excellent service; we would stay there again.
The room we had was average quality with the usual limitations of an old building, but with breakfast included it is competitively priced.

The breakfast was excellent.
The room was a bit chilly.

Great pub atmosphere, staff where fabulous, as was the food, especially the breakfast.
We was in room 9 facing the road, lots of traffic noise all through the night, extremely creaky bed, and the worst was the bright green fire exit light facing the bed, could hardly sleep., extremely small bathroom and toilet seat moves. Plus the slop of the roof effects head height when getting out of bed.

"The staff were so welcoming and friendly, food was fantastic and the rooms are basic but spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy, had the best two nights sleeps i've had in ages. Nice and varied ..."
