We had a wonderful, relaxing 4-day stay at Mar y Sol with our family of four. The weather in October was fantastic, averaging around 27°C, which made the most of our time there.
**Apartment & Views**
The apartment came with all the necessary amenities and featured two bathrooms, which was very convenient for our family. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace/balcony. The views were unique and scenic: on one side, you could see the mountain and planes taking off, while the other side offered a beautiful view of the sea.
**Facilities**
The property has two swimming pools, which we enjoyed in the afternoons. One is ideal for small children, and the second has a depth ranging from 1.6m to 2.15m, which was perfect for adults and older kids.
**Parking & Location**
Some previous reviews mentioned that the building is situated on a hill, but this didn’t bother us at all because we were there with a rental car. The building has underground parking, which was a huge plus—the car stayed cool and wasn’t baked by the sun. The parking spots are quite tight, so if you have a large SUV, you might need to do a bit of "gymnastics" to park, but it was manageable.
**Nearby Attractions**
Everything is very close by. Playa Elche beach is just a 3-minute drive away, where we spent almost our entire day. For dining, we highly recommend **Cafe Fleur by Maison Rêve**. We had breakfast there on our last day, and it was excellent. It is also just a 3-minute drive from the apartment.
Overall, a great spot for a relaxing family holiday with comfortable facilities and a perfect location.
Suggestion for Improvement One small suggestion for the hosts: adding superfast phone chargers in the apartment would be a great touch. It provides real peace of mind for guests who might forget that UK plugs differ from EU sockets, especially for travelers arriving straight from the airport with a low battery
