The Devonian

I liked everything. This place and the guys who run it (Terence and Piper) are exceptional. I didn’t have time to use all the facilities (gym, cinema), but I am sure they are as good as the rest. 10/10. The breakfast and the choices were also exceptional.

Lovely, well maintained property in good area to explore the town.

Nothing

We could not speak highly enough of the Devonian. From a very warm welcome from Piper and Terence, to the excellent facilities, and wonderful breakfast! It would be excellent to stay for longer but our time did not permit!

Absolutely nothing to dislike!

The Devonian has been a wonderful and positive experience for us this weekend. It has unique qualities that make it stand out from other accommodation that we have previously stayed at. Each room has been thought through carefully and decorated beautifully- loved the reading room, bar and the garden was also an added bonus to explore. The gym was clean and the equipment choice was perfect. We didn’t make the ‘cinema’ unfortunately but the concept was so appealing! Piper and Terence are a fantastic couple and extended their welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast and attention to detail to generally everything was just brilliant and we can’t thank them enough for the room upgrade. Amazing value for money… I hope they get to relax and enjoy some well deserved time off when they close for the season! Thank you very much!!!
