Beautiful property, comfortable setting, and warm accommodations. The kitchen had virtually everything you might need to prepare meals, including utensils, basic cooking supplies, appliances, etc. The welcome snack & water basket was a nice touch. Wifi and cable TV access were provided, if you're interested. The property manager was responsive when contacted via text message. Good place for an extended family gathering.
If you are going to/from VA Tech, it's not quite "local;" about 40 mins drive one way. The back roads driving is a little tricky, especially at night (curves, narrow roads, deer frequently appear). I'd recommend taking the southern access route (exit 94 - Count Pulaski Dr) to avoid the longer, slower, winding northern access route.
