The location is stupendous,a short walk to the main attractions of the town.
The room is well equipped, including a heater and additional blanket. Both are vital during winter and cold days/ nights in Swakopmund.
1. There is no door, curtain or anything to separate the room from the bathroom. Privacy is somewhat flawed under these circumstances.
2. There are some 6 or even more rooms gathered together. During the day that isn’t a problem, but in the evening or early morning things get messy as every guest has a different time schedule and different level of discretion in producing noise. Besides, the plumbing action is loud.
3. The car has to stay on the street overnight, despite a quite large enclosed driveway. Our car was packed with bags for our camping gear. Once everything was carried to our room we barely had space left to navigate through our room.
4. The advertised room with city view and/ or patio view is a generous interpretation
