Terrible
Large downstairs space
The host tried to get more money, then requested everything in cash. He then came to the house early in the morning banging on the door and walking around the house and at one point I think he entered through the back sliding door screaming hello. One room the bed made noise with every slight turn you make. He doesn’t say on booking.com that he he requires 2 people per room and he locks all the other rooms. He then said for a fee you can get the room unlocked. He also came on the last full day demanding a 351 cash “security deposit” which he also doesn’t state in booking.com but proceeded to say that all this is on Airbnb which doesn’t matter because we booked through booking. He then kept the deposit for one broken glass stating that he has to replace the whole set which wasn’t a complete set to begin with. Then he said that he watched cameras, which he never told us he had and stated that guest are only allowed to stay for an hour. He then requested that we all leave the home and wanted one person to do a final walk through with him, which was weird so we asked for one other person to go. He couldn’t provide recites for anything and was upset that we asked to record the money being given as proof. He also knew that we had a chef and a massage therapist come and said that was fine but other guests weren’t. The view of the pool he shows is limited the surrounding area was awful looking I wish I could upload the videos I took to this review. So basically the over 3K we spent was for 2 rooms and access to the ground level only. Since writing this review the host has resorted to threats via WhatsApp and insinuated that we are prostitutes. I work as an RN and that is very disrespectful to me. He has also attempted to charge the card on file more money. Stating our card declined there when his machine didn’t take discover or American Express so we then gave him a Bank of America card the his machine took. I
