Geniale Lage im Zentrum der Halbinsel zwischen Rhône und Saône. Sehr belebte kleine Straße mit netten Restaurants. Zwei Ebenen in der 1. Etage (Altbau mit ca 4,50 m hohen Decken), fürs Schlaf- und fürs Wohnzimmer wurde eine zweite Decke eingezogen, ungewöhnliche Einrichtung, sehr ruhig trotz Innenstadt, weil keine Fenster zur Straße, nur in zwei Innenhöfe (die eher Schächte sind). Sehr netter Gastgeber, ausführliche Beschreibung, auch mit Video, wie man in die Wohnung kommt (Geocaching-Erfahrung ist von Nutzen ;-)).
Nichts Schlimmes, insgesamt hat es uns sehr gefallen. Klimaanlage wäre toll. Immerhin gibt's Ventilatoren, von denen wir uns die ganze Nacht ins Bett pusten ließen. Aufstieg zum Schlafzimmer über steile Treppe ohne stabiles Geländer ein bisschen halsbrecherisch für ältere Herrschaften wie uns. Parken am Haus nur theoretisch möglich, weil alle Plätze immer belegt sind. Und dann auch nur zum Eiin- und Ausladen. Wir haben dann problemlos in der Tiefgarage unter der Oper geparkt, ca. 400 m entfernt. Kostete halt für drei Nächte ca. 100 Euro. Gepäckschleppen angesagt.

Horrable.
Horrable. dirty house, less toilet paper, small flat sleeping room, the worst was the host - never any answer after a informing about non-working wifi. (hotsopt as well becuse in a backhouse. Nothing, no answer, total ignorance.

The best thing about this location is its location.
Overall this was the worst stay I’ve had this year. I’ve been to 8 countries this year and dozens of hotels/ Airbnb’s. I paid $185 per night and the basic amenities were not present, only two rolls of toilet paper, no soap to wash your hands, 1 days supply of basic hygiene (soap, shampoo etc) a single pair of towels, no floor towel for the shower and someone randomly came into our apartment and left before I confront them! Which scared my girlfriend. That in itself is completely unacceptable and not safe. The rooms next door and the general area was noisy. Certain light fixtures didn’t work and entrance smelled old. The bed is relatively small yet comfortable. The top floor is short and you have to practically bend over to walk. Finally the cover picture on booking wasn’t an accurate picture for our room. Overall it’s a 5/10 the only thing we like was it was very centrally located.
