Location near Botanic Gardens
Confirmation of booking seemed complicated and also the method by which keys were accessed was complicated for someone who was new to the way of accessing keys. Would have been easier if keys were at reception, rather than in a supermarket nearby.

Great Views and location
Getting the keys was a bit "different" they were away from the apartment in a lock box down some dead end stairs. The area was common to smokers and there was quite a lot of rubbish around. The keys had to be returned to this location too so you had to take your luggage with you when leaving. 300mtr walk.

Location was handy, and the price was fairly affordable - but "you get what you pay for" doesn't mean no light in the bathroom for 3 days
Nobody available to fix problems, endless messages for 3 days because of a blown globe in the bathroom and hallway - showering by the light of my iPhone is not what I expected when I booked this place.
Also, the little kitchenette was in the bathroom - doesn't pass building code, completely illegal
No information in the room to help you with basics like wi-fi (I just tethered to my mobile phone the whole time).
And what really irritated me - after they took your non-refundable deposit, they THEN (and only then) gave you a whole range of additional terms and conditions, and required you to upload ID to a third party website, etc... - legally it would be unenforceable as they can't introduce additional conditions after you're already entered into a non-refundable booking agreement, but who wants the hassle if they chose to try to enforce something.
Basically it's a money machine with a management company helping an owner churn through guests, with no regard to how you feel about it. I won't be booking again.
