The property was clean, comfortable bed, dressing gowns were provided as bathroom was external to room. Excellent breakfast. Good location, walking distance to shops and public transport. The host was welcoming and very helpful.
Would have prefered a room with on suite shower however, the private bathroom provided would have been ok if not for the smell of gas like fumes that was emmiting in the bathroom.
Also would have liked a chair to be provided in the bedroom. Rather than having to sit on the bed.

Superb breakfast, cooked from fresh, lovely coffee. Excellent en-suite shower in a newly fitted out washroom. Off road parking was a bonus. Karl was an excellent host with an interesting past and always willing to have a chat. Would certainly retutrn as needs must and would definetly recommend it to others seeking friendly and clean accomodation. Well done Karl and crew. Try it folks !

Nothing that springs to mind. Can't really find fault without going over it with a magnifying glass. I'm not the kind of person that goes looking for minor blemishes.

From when we arrived at the property a little earlier than we thought Karl was the perfect host … we were shown to our room & shown where everything was & how to use the facilities. The room was very comfy & the breakfast was excellent everything was cooked fresh along with an array of cereals & homemade produce. We will definitely be booking again in the future
If I had one very small critique I would say the mattress could be better.. memory foam rather than a sprung one but it did not detract from our stay

Very good breakfast. Plenty of choice .
Our room was quite shabby and needs to be updated and redecorated. Blinds need replacing urgently.
Karl and Jude were very welcoming and were keen to ensure we had everything we needed.
