About this house rental
Bring your families, friends, or colleagues together for work or play! This smartly remodeled and spotless sanctuary welcomes you with character and comforts for your Portland retreat. Our home is not suitable for children under 13 or anyone with mobility challenges.
This 1911 house is loaded with character and thoughtful amenities. This animal-free, smoke-free space has been carefully designed to provide comfortable stays for guests on vacation or traveling for business.
Guests have private access to the entire house (except the basement), the front porch, the driveway, and the back patio. Guests share the use of the back garden with the hosts who reside in a tiny home in the back of the property as well as utilize the basement of the main house (as a note, there is no access from the basement to the main house where guests stay). The hosts enjoy the opportunity to meet guests and share helpful resources to improve your stay and also greatly respect the privacy of our guests.
The house is steps from quaint Kenton Park and business district with restaurants, taprooms, and coffee shops. 7-minute walk to the Max light rail station takes you downtown in 20 minutes. Also close to multiple bus lines. Convenient home base for excursions to the Columbia River Gorge, Mt Hood, and Vancouver, WA.

Stayed here with my husband and mother-in-law for a long summer weekend. What a gem! This is absolutely one of the nicest rentals I've stayed in. Lots of thoughtful details and a comfortable, homey space. Our fragrance-sensitive family appreciated that the cleaners used and soap provided were very low/no fragrance. Loved being within walking distance of the Kenton commercial area and a MAX station to easily get downtown. The only slight negative is that, like other reviews have mentioned, there is noise from the very close freight train tracks and the nearby speedway, but this was expected and did not at all detract from our stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Jenny and Zak!

Great Property. The house is super cute. Clean, well appointed, close to the airport. I was there with two girl friends and we were all super happy with the layout, accommodations, kitchen appointments, and ease of cleanup.There are trains that go by so if you are a light sleeper it might be a problem, but it is a comforting sound and seemed fitting for the setting. You are steps from a park to walk in, and a very close walk to bakery, restaurants, etc. Driveway parking is easy, and the key-less entry is was seamless. I highly recommend and would stay there again if I was in the area.

Th hosts added so many little touches, such as coffee and tea packets, creamers and butter pats, cold water and travel mugs, amenities in the bathrooms, and laundry supplies. The house is located on a quiet street with a front and back porch for morning coffee. We had a nice walk to Kenton Park and beyond to the shops on N Denver St. We highly recommend this location and hope to enjoy it again.

The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious with an extra bedroom to spare. My husband and I shared 1, and our daughter who is 13 had her own room, and there was a 3rd bedroom too! We were able to get some laundry done which was great as we have been on a long road trip, and they even provided detergent and dryer sheets. They also had a tub upstairs which my husband loved, and my daughter and I enjoyed the shower downstairs. There was body wash, shampoo and conditioner, as well as Dr Teals bubble available which was soo nice. They had fresh cold water available in the fridge and the water straight from the tap was great! It's not far from downtown Kenton which had lots of places to eat. We enjoyed Posie's for breakfast and coffee, and their breakfast sandwhich was very good, and Northport for dinner one night. They were BOTH delicious. Highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again. Jenny was very responsive and we had all the info we needed when we arrived and when we left. It was a nice retreat from hotels and being on the road.
