Only 4 miles to Townsend where you will find grocery stores, restaurants, river access, churches, horseback riding and river tubing, along with motorcycle and street legal UTV rentals. There are always activities at the visitor center like hot air balloons, club meets, lumberjack competitions or music festivals. There are so many wonderful things to explore, come stay with us and experience the very best the peaceful side of the Smokies has to offer. We had a relaxing trip and enjoyed our stay at the Honey Bear cabin. We loved the beautiful views from the front porch and the seclusion from the woods around the cabin. We will definitely be back again.

If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place! The porch swing is the perfect spot for morning coffee and evenings watching the lightning bugs! Everything was clean and well-stocked. Our boys loved the ample space to run around outside.

We loved the cabin and enjoyed our stay! The kids loved catching fireflies and exploring the property. The shower and bathtub were awesome! The TV room was a hit as well!
