We had a very good stay at Elbrus Home. Everyone is very welcoming and the included breakfast is very good. They are also very flexible and we could extend easily extend our stay and they also kept our bags while we were doing the ATC

Location is fantastic, with the main Thamel block only a very short 200m walk away, but outside of the really busy and expensive areas. 10/10. Khem and the rest of the staff are lovely and clearly motivated to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We came back a second time after trekking cos it was so good. Nice view from the rooftop too.
Not as social, which was fine for us as we were already in a group. If you’d like to meet people at your hostel then perhaps there are better options out there.
