Located in Bajamar, a gated golf community an hour south of the Tijuana border, Casa Peggy sits on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Newly remodeled with cantara volcanic stone floors and hand painted tiles, this comfortable five bedroom/ 4.5 bath villa is centered around a large patio with a pool. With an open floor plan, ocean views can be enjoyed from the living room, kitchen, and dining room. Enjoy watching dolphins, whales, and sunsets from the ocean deck.
Casa Peggy features a well-stocked gourmet kitchen with handmade Oaxacan ceramic dishware, a 5-burner gas stove, all new appliances and ample granite countertops to prepare your favorite meals. A gas barbecue in a protected patio with views provides extra cooking space. The house has two king, three queen and one full bed. We have a whole-house, reverse osmosis water purification system so all of the water in the house is safe to drink. An extra refrigerator in the garage ensures plenty of space for cold drinks.
The living room has floor to ceiling 17-foot windows with ocean views, a wood-burning fireplace and a 70 inch HDTV. Netflix is included. Internet is provided through new fiberoptic cable. The large master bedroom features windows along two sides to enjoy ocean breezes. A unique feature is the loft bedroom with expansive ocean views.
Casa Peggy was built in 1976 on one of the largest oceanfront lots in Bajamar by a local noted architect. Completely renovated, the house includes many modern updates. The house comes with tennis rackets, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and yoga mats.
The comfortable bedrooms feature premium Tuft and Needle mattresses. The bathrooms are finished with hand-painted tiles and sinks from central Mexico and Morocco. The stunning master bathroom hosts a glass-enclosed roman tub and shower from which to watch the whales while you bathe.
Bajamar’s extensive property provides ample opportunity for hiking, running and biking. The 18-hole golf course includes Pebble Beach style holes along the ocean. Enjoy meals at the clubhouse or a drink in the bar. Pickleball courts are located a block from the house. An OXXO covenience store recently opened that is a short walk from the house.
Bajamar’s location 30 minutes south of Rosarito and 40 minutes north of Ensenada, makes it ideal for visiting the Guadalupe Valley wine country or enjoying nearby swimming and surfing beaches. The neighboring areas host markets, festivals, concerts, races, and many more activities.

Such a beautiful home. The concept of this home was the best we have ever stayed at! My family and I really enjoyed the pool and the option for it to be heated was the cherry on top. We enjoyed cooking meals in the most gorgeous kitchen and laying our heads at night in the most relaxing beds. Thanks again for everything Casa Peggy!

This place is overlooking the ocean in a gated community. The home is huge and well maintained. It feels very relaxing in the pool, backyard or balcony. Coffee in the morning looking at the sea is the best. Location is great since it is centrally located to Rosarito and Ensedana and Villa Guadalupe. I would definitely come back with my family.

The host Ruth is absolutely a gem and amazing. Lovely and informative. The property is very quaint and has wonderful views of the ocean and amazing ocean breezes, while overlooking the back of the golf course. Neighborhood is great. The house itself is old and the photos while depicting it’s amenities and layout don’t accurately portray its age and wear. It’s in need of some major deep cleaning/TLC when factored against the price per night. Had quite the ant infestation in the master bathroom and through the house. Ant were falling from ceiling in one of the bedrooms and I. The kitchen by the fridge as well and this was all the first day without really settling in. While annoying if you’re a DIY type not a trip breaker they had some insect killer and the likes around the house we used. Lots of cobwebs and dust throughout the home even on the tops of the sofas. Again once the family used the pool major any attack all along the back wall. Massive amounts. But again just heavily doused the lm with the bug killer on site. To be 100 percent fair we just addressed it and didn’t contact of bother the host. Most of all of this was beyond her as she’s not the owner. Ruth was a delight from the little interaction we had and you can tell she’s an amazing lady. Again great views, spacious, had lots of utensils and things, just in terms of value and price point per night against the wear and tear and overall cleanliness it was sub par because priced too high.
