The staff were excellent especially Nui and Tik at the beach bar. Beautiful private beach, clean bungalows very relaxing. They looked after me and my wife as if we were family. Thankyou
It's perfect if you want peace and quiet but it is remote. The minibus from the airport wouldn't take us to the resort and dropped us off at the village before the steep climb over the mountain and wanted extra money. Dangerous road to hire a scooter even if yr experienced and the taxis are way overpriced to go anywhere so you can be a bit stuck unless you budget for an extra 1000 baht a day for transport. Apart from that the resort was perfect. Watch out for the monkeys that will steal anything left outside yr room and lock yr doors as they will get in and raid your coffee and creamer 😂

The bed was very comfortable for thailand! Soft! The shower was nice with the small dividing wall, which is scares in thailand.
The pool is very nice, over looking the ocean. The beach also is one of the nicest on the island.
Bar tender was entertaining with card tricks and good laughs!
Its quite far away from everything, and the road was slippery with the scooter after the rain into the resort.
The bed is built on a raised wooden floor, but still doesn't have legs, so we found a few ants in the bed. And there was 2 raised nails in the wooden floor that I cut my foot on during the night.
So and elderly person would struggle getting up and down from there..

I like the exclusivity of the beach. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
I liked that you get to be in touch with wildlife
They need to improve their bugs isolation system. Install clear signage of the entrance of the hotel.
I think is worth investing in a paved road to have an easy access to people that rent bikes

On the beach, lovely pool area and view, food was amazing and reasonably priced
Expensive drinks, staff weren’t overly friendly, very noisy as basically in jungle, could not leave air con on during the day, location was very very remote (10 mins away from any shop or other people) so isolating and unsociable for backpackers like us, old town was 40 mins moped ride away
