breakfast was wonderful enhanced by mountain views.
views from rooms are spectacular
the staff were very friendly
there could have been more information and maps on local walks; also ideas on transports options and costs to and from Pokhara.
Maps of Pokhara city would have been helpful.
The evening meals were ok but my friends reported that the meat was very tough - I appreciate that the meat was prepared Nepali style - bone, meat and skin all cooked together but maybe some more western options of filleted meat could have been highlighted. I only had fish which was good.
The welcome ceremony was a little OTT!

Fabulous location with amazing views of the mountains in the morning. All of the staff were so kind and helpful. It was such a treat to stay here after our trek. The food was great.
The rooms were great with very comfortable beds.
We had a great massage in the spa.
Nothing.

I loved everything about the property! The suite with bathtub by the window was absolutely superb. It’s not an everyday thing for me to splurge on nice things for myself but I really needed a weekend away and my goodness, Sarangkot Mountain Lodge was perfect for it. The room, the small details like the complimentary bottle of wine, chips and sparkling water, fruit platter with the homemade chocolates and sweets. I will most definitely be back and will recommend this place to everyone! Bindana was an amazingly skilled masseuse as well, if you want a good deep tissue massage then go no further than her! Ajal (I think that’s his name) was amazing! He was so polite and really went out of his way to make my experience staying there so much better. Pointing out the Himalayas at night time was truly a highlight of my stay there.
The one thing ai didn’t like was the painting of the balcony that took place. The paint smell was extremely strong and could smell it wafting through my suite. So my only suggestion would be to choose a quieter time to do the painting, close the hotel for a day. Sarangkot Mountain Lodge was very ethically conscious and I love that, so be mindful of the toxicity of painting. If you’re doing lower level painting, move everyone up higher or close the hotel for a weekend.
