The Abbey Inn & Spa

Amazing views, a dream-fairytale-like hotel, huge rooms. The gym is amazing but it’s not in the same building.

The closeness to the river provides amazing views but also very loud honking noises that woke us up.

The outdoor pool is located at an apartment development next door.

The space was absolutely gorgeous. Even better than the pictures. Everything super quiet. We spent two night and barely left the hotel. Food is great too.

We wanted to use the pool and didn’t know it wasn’t part of their property, thought it would be open but it wasn’t, staff didn’t know anything about it. Kind of annoying but we still had fun.

Very beautiful location

Despite high rating the property is outdated , the bed is not comfortable, the room is mentioned as 41 sq meters, but in reality much smaller . The location is beautiful, but very noisy from the train horn every half hour at night and also the motorway makes a lot of noise . The restaurant os not tasty at all , breakfast is strange à la carte … Valet is not working in the morning, so you need to look for the receptionist to give you your car keys . The bed linen and duvet is very old -for sure need changing for you .
