PERFECT for aurora-viewing! It was an unique experience to stay in an authentic, vintage Norwegian home from a by-gone era. The personal touches (guestbook, personal scrapbook of the family’s history, photographs…) made us feel as if we were guests in someone’s private home. We loved the binoculars at almost every window! The two kitchens were especially appreciated since there was only one bathroom.

Die Lage dieses kleinen Gehöfts mit den Holzgebäuden auf einem großen Grundstück direkt am Fjord ist einmalig und war unser privater Polarlicht-Hotspot. Die nächsten Nachbarn sind in Sichtweite, aber trotzdem weit weg. Mit dem Mietwagen von Tromsö in einer halben Stunde problemlos erreichbar. Einkäufe muss man in Tromsö erledigen. Das Haus hat etwas von Pettersson und Findus. Die fast museale Einrichtung stammt aus den 70er Jahren, die E-Geräte haben aber neuen Standard. Die Unterkunft versprüht eine tolle Athmosphäre. Wer eine moderne, hippe Ferienwohnung bevorzugt, ist hier aber falsch. Wir waren nur zu zweit dort und haben ausschließlich das Erdgeschoss bewohnt. Im Obergeschoss sind weitere Schlafzimmer, ein zweites Wohnzimmer und eine zweite Küche vorhanden. Ein einfaches Duschbad gibt es nur im Erdgeschoss. Die schmalen Betten waren super bequem. Die Küchenausstattung langt für drei Wohnungen. Der Bollerofen in der Küche macht es gemütlich. Der Vermieter hatte soager einen kleinen Holzvorrat für uns bereitgelegt. Die Aussicht aus dem Wohnzimmer und vom Küchentisch auf den Fjord ist sensationell. Ein Adler und eine Robbe sind auch vorbeigekommen. Der Kontakt zum sehr freundlichen Vermieter war einwandfrei und unkompliziert. Eine Bushaltestelle ist an der Straße vorhanden, wir enpfehlen einen Mietwagen. Auch im Sommer muss diese Unterkunft herrlich sein.
