Villa Paddy is just perfect !!
9 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
Loved everything abt the hotel, staff and yummy kuih during breakfast. Beautiful landscaping, quiet & peaceful. Smart TV available (yeay).
Not enough nearby eateries or shops. For dinner a bit of a hassle to go far. Unless you have your own transport. Shared pool is small & cold. Restaurant only serve breakfast.

Quiet far from Kuah but I’m okay

A really nice accommodation with lovely rooms and a warm, welcoming team who gave me advice beyond my stay. Breakfast was really good, with a mix of Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisines. There is a daily choice of main, along with buffet items, juices, teas and coffees. It's centrally located on the island, which was perfect for me. I found driving and parking straightforward, and it was easy to get to different parts of the island.
I had been offered the master room in advance of my stay to suit my personal needs, so it was disappointing to find it wasn't available for the first night when I arrived. I was able to move into it for the remainder of my stay, though, and really enjoyed the room. There was also sometimes quite a strong smell of paint coming from downstairs. These were fairly minor points in an otherwise very enjoyable stay.
