Staying at this hostel was such a wonderful surprise! It’s a little gem right in the heart of town, full of character, creativity, and thoughtful details. From my conversation with the owner, I learned that he and his brother built and designed the entire place themselves in a unique steampunk style. From the wiring and wooden and steel furniture to the beds, bathrooms, and other facilities, so much of the work reflects their own craftsmanship and creativity. I absolutely loved every detail, from the beautiful, practical sink that stretches across the hostel to the distinctive bathroom design, the comfortable beds, and even the charming backyard. Every piece of wood, steel, and stone seems to have its own character. One of my favorite features was the privacy curtain on each bunk bed. Since starting my Camino in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, this is the first time I’ve come across a hostel with curtains on every bunk, and I really appreciated that extra touch of privacy and comfort. The facilities are excellent, and the bed was super comfortable. I also really appreciated having access to the kitchen, which made it easy to prepare my own meals. Even more conveniently, the owner runs a little shop right next to the hostel, where you can find essentials like bread, eggs, and fresh fruit. He even kindly offered me a piece of fruit for free, which made me feel especially welcome. What makes this place truly special is not just its unique design, but also the owner’s personal touch, generosity, and attention to detail. You can feel the care and love that he and his brother have put into creating this space. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hostel to fellow pilgrims looking for somewhere comfortable, distinctive, and full of heart. A truly memorable little gem on the Camino! ¡Muchas gracias for such a lovely stay!

It’s the best Albergue I have stayed at along the Camino so far. It is comfortable, with cubbie hole type bunks with curtains, making it very private. The place itself is very different. Funky, rustic, quaint. Full kitchen, and he even has a shop to buy your stuff to cook. I wish all Albergues were like this. Perfect.
I’m surprised there was no washing machine. It had everything else.

Comfy bed, easy to climb up to top bunk, had curtains and a slot about 4” wide on the side of the wall you could put your stuff. A few hand wash basins, couple showers, outdoor cover with places to sit and place to hand clothes. Main office had packaged food items for sale.
Person who worked there seemed like a construction worker who just got off work. Went to INfusion for dinner and breakfast.
