Our stay at Cat Ba Xanh was peaceful and rejuvenating. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, living up to its name. Our room was impeccably cleaned, with crisp bedsheets, a modern bathroom, and a scenic window framing the green mountains. The breakfast was a treat every morning—fresh banana pancakes, eggs, and rich Vietnamese coffee. The staff helped us rent a scooter to visit Hospital Cave and Cannon Fort, and organized our onward travel to Tam Coc smoothly. The friendly, honest attitude of the hosts made our trip unforgettable! The hotel is quiet at night, so if you are seeking lively bars right outside your door, you will need to take a quick 5-minute ride into town.

La dame de l’accueil était très sympathique et arrangeante ! L’hôtel est très correct, propre et correspond aux photos.
Une petite couverture ne serait pas de refus dans la chambre, et malheureusement la télé n’est pas une smart Tv

We loved everything about our stay at Cat Ba Xanh. The property is tucked away in a calm valley with stunning karst hills all around. Our room was modern, spotless, and had a private balcony with peaceful mountain views. The hosts are wonderful people who speak good English and are always ready to help. They organized an unforgettable day cruise in Lan Ha Bay that visited uncrowded lagoons, and arranged our laundry service quickly. The breakfast cakes and local coffee were top-tier every morning. An outstanding homestay! Taxis from the main harbor back to the hotel late at night cost a couple of dollars, but reception will gladly call one for you whenever needed.

From check-in to departure, our experience at Cat Ba Xanh was flawless. The host family greeted us warmly and treated us like valued guests throughout our stay. The room was spacious, bright, and featured a large window framing dramatic karst scenery.
The private kayaking tour they organized through Lan Ha Bay was the highlight of our holiday—we paddled through secluded coves and visited floating fishing villages. Every morning, breakfast was served fresh on the outdoor patio with delicious fruit, eggs, and local coffee. The host also arranged our bus to Hanoi without any stress. Highly recommended!" During peak season breakfast hours, the outdoor terrace can get lively, but the staff works hard to ensure everyone is served quickly and pleasantly.
