A beautiful location with comfort and style. A calm and peaceful stay with wonderful service.

Beautiful design and details. Right on Lake Biwa, amazing views. Big rooms with comfortable beds and a lounge. Perfect meals to showcase Japanese cuisine.

Only small thing were the little lake bugs…

Comfortable Stay in Hikone

Excellent breakfast! Breakfast was a traditional Japanese set course, with up to 10 varieties of small dishes to pick from. It was a wonderful experience. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Older building- great location. Fantastic food

Great location facing the lake. Nice building and facilities, beautiful restaurant with full lake view and excellent food. Amazing staff, who acted promptly to resolve our issue. The onsen wouls benefit from deep cleaning and a retrofit…

Dated. We were first given room 318. Superior twin. A veey, but very small room. Barely room for the beds. And almost facing the back of the building. You had to stick your head out of the window to have the “lake view”. Plus a noisy next door guest. We called upon the management who promptly moved us to an upgraded room; more space and a real lake view.

Disappointing

Lake view

Noisy. The food wasn’t tasty for breakfast or dinner and they overcharged me

お風呂からの展望が最高でした

温泉に何度も入りたかったので、タオルが都度部屋から持っていくのが、不便でした。浴場にあると嬉しいです。
