Great safe, location close to Piazza Nuova, the Pantheon, right on the pedestrian street with businesses and a two minute walk to a taxi stand that always had taxis in the morning if needed. Clean spacious room. Irene, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and gave good directions and tips for the taxi driver when dropping us off. The common kitchen area with a microwave and dishes was a bonus for being able eat some of our meals in the room. Given its age, the building has character.
Even though we had good directions when we first arrived, it was still a little confusing finding the reception area on the second floor as we missed seeing the old style elevator and think the second floor was actually what we’d consider the third floor. The first thing we saw when entering the building was a broken window in the entrance hallway which didn’t give a positive first impression, but once getting to the reception area and then our room, everything was meticulous and well kept.

The accommodation was in a greta location, just minutes away from Piazza Navona. The staff was great, check in was easy and Alex was available for recommendations and to answer any of my questions. The room was simple, spacious and clean. The air-conditioning worked well and was nice to escape from Rome's summer heat. The location is great, central and walking distance to a number of great restaurants, and popular attractions (Trevi Fountain, Pantheon. Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps, etc.). As a solo traveller, the building was safe, secure and had everything that I needed to make my days in Rome a success.
