it was very good everything is clean, the food at the restaurant is very good, you are very close to the beach and most importantly the staff is so very nice and you can take surf class with the hostel, the teacher and owner is a good and patient teacher who is very nice definitely recommend

Breakfast was filling and included in the price. The surfing lesson and board hire is a good deal (70 soles for a lesson). Easy to meet other travellers. Randy (surf instructor/staff ) was very friendly and went out of his way to help. He also allowed me to use the room well after checkout which was appreciated. The food at the restaurant was excellent and affordable.
The hostel facilities are worn down and could use some improvements. The shower curtain in my dorm room was full of black mould. Plus, the relaxing area couches need a good clean. It felt like the hostel was a side business to the great restaurant.
