I was traveling alone, The place was easy to find right at the beach. The Reception lady" I forgot to get her name" she was so friendly, helpful and honestly a sweetheart. The rooms were affordable, and matched the price.
There was a storm, and the roof almost felt like it was coming off. When the wind was strong, it was lifting. Maybe if they can improve the structures to make sure it is strong. My room was next to a tree, and all the leaves were flooding the room.

The whole set up with the hostel and the dive center at the beach is great. They have all you need, including a bar and a pool. And it is very convenient for divers to wake up and just get into your gear.
The toilets/ showers are a bit old and could use a bit of modernisation. And be aware that the walls of the rooms are thin. You hear the video played in the next room.

Friendly staff, the location is great. We will definitely visit again.
Walls are very thin so you hear all the noise around Ponta, and next to us lived people with dogs, the dogs cried the whole night to get in or out, don't know which. Cute dogs, but noisy at night.

The staff was friendly and willing to assist.
The lighting in the rooms can be a bit softer.
