Amazing experience. Superb views, great room.
Public baths close at 10 am and not 11 am (which is the check out time).

Beautiful place, with water and koi fish swimming next to the room. Quiet, clean, view of the nearby mountains. Food (dinner and breakfast) was great! Delivered to the room on a full 1.5 hours meal + traditional Yukata.
All was perfect

Traditional Japanese hotel, however it felt very old and dated which was half expected however for the price I would think a renovation of the bathrooms should be a minimum requirement!
The private rooftop Onsen was nice but quite small, we didn’t try the food so can’t comment on this.
We booked the traditional Japanese room and it had a distinct smell that wasn’t very nice upon entering, despite having the balcony doors open and AC on all the time we couldn’t quite get rid.
First time sleeping on futon on the floor and we didn’t sleep both nights, we even doubled up the futon with the spare ones in the cupboard but it was so uncomfortable- probably our fault for choosing this style, as we wanted to give it ago - never again!
