Had a great experience overall. The Hotel is within walking distance of the station. The staff were exceptionally helpfull and the staff in the morning greeted me by name which was amazing and very appreciated. The breakfast room is just beautiful, light and airy and the breakfast was great. They stored my luugage once I vacated the room as my lift was only arriving later in the day.The locals in the pub were also very friendly and I had a lovely chat to an old veteran who was particuarly interested in where I come from. For me the decor in the room was fitting with the age of the hotel and gave the room a warm and homely feel.I would definitely come back again.

The breakfast was good
The room was really dusty, cobwebs in the window, cracked tiles on the bathroom floor and shower didn't work properly
