Very special place full of beauty. Room, courtyard, pool area just magical. Tanur's restaurant suggestions and places of interest made everything easy perhaps as you would expect, but you dont expect a host to remind you to listen to the birds! Which she did and suddenly breakfast in the courtyard had a noticeable soundscape... As I say, special. Gilles also a comforting, softer presence.
You do have to drive to restaurants which we hadnt appreciated. We probably would have arrived earlier had we known that the restaurants in Aigaliers had closed down and we would have to get back in the car after a long journey. Not ideal.

Homely, spacious room, with friendly, attentive and informative owners
(Plus the gorgeous dog Mara!)
No walkable amenities (but that was down to our research!)

Cool old-school vibe, decorated in traditional way. Breakfast really good.
No locks on bedrooms, and the pool isn't in the sun all day.
