Instructions for entry not clear. Not advised that we needed to go through the fire exit door to find our entry door. No signage to advise this.

We loved the central location, close to everything - theatre, shops, sights, inc a bus stop right outside. The apartment was spacious and really well equipped with everything we needed. It was very clean, had a good shower and the bed was very comfortable.
The access to the apartment was surprisingly difficult but could easily have been simple with better instructions (including the fact that the apartment door was actually behind a fire door that stated no entry).
Although instructed to communicate via the Booking App (as per all our other apartment stays where the replies were prompt), Housd did not reply to any of them. They did, however, answer their emergency number.
The apartment is quite noisy (this is the compromise for such a central location though).
There are no apartment 'instructions' for how to use anything. Instead we were given a link to access the information, but it didn't work (I was told the website was under construction). I asked that the guide be emailed to me but it never came. It meant we couldn't watch the TV (which required a login) and had to play around to figure out other appliances and heating. A simple laminated sheet left in the apartment would have alleviated this entirely.

Surprisingly spacious apartment in the center of London, right inside Chinatown. Very close to a Tube station, 5 minutes away from Piccadilly Circus as well as Trafalgar Square. Kitchen was very well equipped. The apartment itself faces an alley so there is no street noise from the busy Chinatown.
A bit more complicated to access due to multiple keycodes, but the host provides very good instruction as well as a support hotline in case there is an issue (there was and it was resolved within 2 minutes). Even a slight noise resonates a lot in the alley - there were people chatting at 11 PM and it was super loud, just as were delivery and maintenance vans coming in and out around 6 AM.

Location& size
No air conditioning for the price was very dissapointed. Children could not sleep . It was 32 degrees in the apartment with windows that only opened a few inches . It made me feel physically ill.
