The staff were very friendly, the location was perfect for viewing the Northern Lights, and the room was very clean. We also enjoyed a beautiful view of the surrounding lava field. Breakfast was good, especially the excellent coffee!
The only downside was that the room was a bit small.

Beautiful surroundings. Communal space was lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Got lucky and saw the northern lights. Windows facing the lake on the cabin were fantastic and incredibly protective against what felt like Galeforce winds
Seersucker bedding was a bit scratchy with scratchy pillowcases. Rooms were very small, but nicely appointed. Outdoor lighting, needs to be shielded to get the maximum benefit from the dark skies.

The location was pretty nice, the night we arrived the sky was clear and we were able to see the Northern Lights! Unfortunately the next morning everything was covered in snow and we were not able to see or visit anything around the area. The breakfast was pretty good, the only place that we had found pancakes!! The room was modern and clean. The staff (especially the guy who helped us get out of the snow) was great and helpful.
There was not enough space to accommodate our luggage, we could not open them easily and have space to walk around. Considering the price we paid, we would expect it to be a bit more comfortable

The staff was very nice and the location super to visit all the area.
The amenities were very basic and a bit old style. For the price they charge they could modernize them.
Very weird there wasn’t any net at the window and the door wasn’t sealed properly so midges were coming in constantly. Definitely need a renovation but there’s a potential.
