VILLA EDO

I stayed at Villa Edo from 8 to 13 October, and I can wholeheartedly say that it was the most extraordinary hospitality experience I have ever had. I travelled to Tunisia with a dear friend, hoping to discover a beautiful country, but what I found went far beyond anything I could have imagined. From the very beginning, Anne, the wonderful owner of the villa, and her husband welcomed us with such genuine warmth, generosity and affection that we immediately felt like part of their family. Their kindness was truly exceptional. They were always happy to offer recommendations, share stories about Tunisia, help us with anything we needed, or simply sit down for a conversation and a good laugh. It is difficult to put into words how special it feels to be welcomed with such sincerity, especially when you are thousands of kilometres away from home. The villa itself is absolutely stunning: beautifully maintained, impeccably clean, peaceful and full of character. Its location in Gammarth is excellent, offering a welcome escape from the bustle of central Tunis while remaining conveniently situated for exploring Carthage, La Marsa, Sidi Bou Said and the Medina of Tunis. And the breakfast! Simply fabulous. I already miss the delicious homemade treats, the chocolate bread and the morning coffee, enjoyed on the terrace while admiring the beautiful surroundings and watching the villa's lovely tortoises. Those quiet mornings became some of my most cherished memories of the trip. What made Villa Edo truly unforgettable, however, was not simply its beauty, comfort or wonderful amenities, but the people who brought it to life. Anne, her husband and the entire team made us feel genuinely cared for, and that is something no amount of luxury can ever replace. I cannot recommend Villa Edo highly enough.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! What makes this place so special is not only its beautiful atmosphere, but above all the incredible warmth and kindness of Anne, Mario, and the entire team. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the location was perfect, and for anyone who appreciates interior design, this place is an absolute dream. Every corner is thoughtfully decorated, filled with beautiful details, lovely plants, and so much character. We especially loved the two little turtles by the bar, which made the place even more charming. But what we will remember most are the people. The lovely conversations, the genuine hospitality, and the care everyone put into making our stay special made us feel truly welcome and at home. You can really feel how much love and thought goes into this place. We left with beautiful memories and are incredibly grateful for the experience. Thank you for everything!

The property was beautiful!! We had the room with its own pool and it was absolutely stunning ...a little haven of peace.
