the space, amenities, garden, proximity to town, great kitchen, separate bathroom & toilet, the flued gas fire kept the place nice and cosy.
the bed mattress was probably a bit old and so was"u" shaped. T
he drive was damaged and lifted by tree roots so I had to park on the street.

Cosy and close to town. Easy access and good beds. Loved the character of the home.

Beautifully present inside, clean and tidy.
Heating on when we arrived and lamps on so was a lovely welcoming touch!
The toilet window being only flyscreen, was a little cold and just a little insecure feeling.

The cottage is in a great location, very convenient to town and easy to find. It has a lovely country charm, and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cookware and everything we needed for our stay. The cottage has lots of potential and a nice garden area.
Unfortunately, the cottage is quite run down and could really do with some TLC. While it looks very cute from the outside, the overall condition is a little disappointing. The garden could be lovely but is quite overgrown and in need of some maintenance.
The driveway is also a concern, with a large uneven piece of concrete making it quite hazardous and difficult to use safely.
Overall, the property could benefit from a really good deep clean, some general maintenance and a bit of attention to detail. It’s a shame because it’s a charming little cottage in a fantastic location, but it does feel a little neglected. With some care and improvements, it could be a really lovely place to stay.
